  • How old do I need to be to rent a storage unit at Lake Area Storage?
    The required age to rent a storage unit is at least 18 years old.
  • How do I pay my storage bill?
    We have several ways to pay your bill: - Customer Portal - Login HERE - Cash - Check - Money Order
  • What documents do I need to rent a storage unit?
    A government issued photo identification is required to rent a storage unit with Lake Area Storage.
  • Do you offer storage of RVs, Boats, Cars & Motorcycles?
    Not at this time. We have plans to be able to offer all your storage needs in the future.
  • Are there any items I cannot store?
    Yes. Prohibited items include, but are not limited to perishable goods, flammable materials, explosives and other dangerous materials, and any item(s) that violate any county, state, or federal law(s). Please inquire at the office about items that are restricted from being stored on our property as outlined in our rental agreement.
  • Do you supply locks?
    Yes. It is a requirement of our rental agreement that all customers secure their rented unit at the time of rental. Lake Area Storage sells locks for your unit or you can supply your own. Customers must also remove the purchased lock at time of vacate.
  • When am I able to access my storage unit?
    You will have 24 hour access to your unit.
  • Are you locally owned?
    Yes! We have been locally owned since opening. Lake Area Storage is very grateful to have the opportunity to be actively involved in the local community of Keystone Heights and surrounding areas.
